About Us

Helping lift and elevate lives in a remote area of Sierra Leone

The School

Moriba Senior Secondary School

Founded in 1987 in the Kenema District of Eastern Sierra Leone, Moriba Senior Secondary School has served the surrounding communities for nearly four decades. The school sits at the heart of a rural region that has long lacked access to the kind of career-building resources available in Freetown or abroad.

Today, Moriba enrolls over 1,200 students across its secondary programs. Its graduates go on to university, skilled trades, and — increasingly — remote professional careers. The Moriba Career Center was built as a direct extension of the school: to make sure students don't just complete their education, but launch meaningful working lives.

The Curriculum

Trained to work.
Trained to communicate.

Our remote-work curriculum was designed around a single question: what do US and UK employers actually need from a remote hire on day one? The answer shaped everything.

Students learn professional English — not just grammar, but the registers of workplace communication: clear email, confident video calls, respectful follow-up, and concise reporting. They learn to ask questions without apology and deliver work without hand-holding.

Alongside communication, every student is trained in at least one technical track — data entry, basic accounting, virtual assistance, or research support. By graduation, they can walk into a remote role and contribute immediately.
